Dr. Patrick Egan
Dr. Egan joined Providence as Dean of the Upper School in 2014. He is an ex-officio member of the school board. In addition to his responsibilities as dean, he teaches U.S. History and the Junior/Senior Seminar. Patrick and his family spent three years living and studying in St Andrews, Scotland. Prior to this, he served as an Assistant Pastor at College Church in Wheaton. Before coming to Providence, Patrick taught at Clapham School in Wheaton, IL. He has also taught courses in New Testament and Biblical Greek at colleges and seminaries in the US and UK. He recently published Ecclesiology and the Scriptural Narrative of 1 Peter with Wipf & Stock. Patrick is married to Kristin and has four children: Laura, Shannon, Joanna, and Cameron.
